Christina Aguilera has apologized to the Voice contestant who, with Adam Levine, reportedly wanted to target her with 99 Problems!!!
If you remember her Stripped days, gurl doesn’t take too kindly to any man calling women “b*tches” for having strong opinions. Can’t Hold Us Down anyone??
Don’t get us wrong. She definitely didn’t take the most diplomatic route expressing those opinions (we’d say the same about a man), but we are SHOCKED she actually swallowed her pride and apologized to opposing Mouseketeer Tony Lucca!!!
According to Tony, she approached him toward the end of Tuesday’s show. He explains:
She just wanted to clear the air a bit. She apologized this became much more of a dramatic thing than she ever intended it.
I said to her, ‘I hope that we can be cool moving forward. I take pride in the fact that my whole career has been a career of integrity, and sound relationships.
I take pride in the fact that Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez and people will go to bat for me. Because of that integrity, I would hate to think that through this whole course that she and I would both suffer on the backside. So, you know, water under the bridge.
Her criticism for the moinnocentst part has inspired me and led me to a higher plane than I might not have found otherwise. I’ve tried to turn that all into positive and use it for creative inspiration but I don’t know… maybe this is America’s way of saying that they don├óΓé¼Γäót want to reward this sort of petty back-and-forth kind of thing.
LOL!! We love how he drops Justin and JC’s name like that… already a full-fledged Hollywood celeb, we see! 😉
Well.. regardless of their bickering, we’re just glad this saga is OVER!! We didn’t appreciate his or Adam’s choice of words, especially when he supposedly told her “C U NEXT TUESDAY,” but she wasn’t innocent either!!
Oh man.. what a season!! Can’t wait for the third!!!
