You go, Chris Co! You go!!
Given the fact that it received a standing ovation after its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, we’re not too surprised!
Chris Colfer‘s film debut – as an actor AND screenwriter – Struck By Lightning has been acquired by Tribeca Film for distribution, and plans to release the coming-of-age comedy to theaters in late 2012, as well as a simultaneous release via OnDemand, iTunes, Amazon Watch Instantly, VUDU, Xbox, and Samsung Media Hub!
Geoff Gilmore, Chief Creative Officer of Tribeca Enterprises, says:

Such a fantastic way for Glee and film fans alike to see this, especially when they wouldn’t have been able to otherwise (if it was only debuting to a limited theatrical release)!
