Such a nice way to take advantage of fame!
While driving his girlfriend to lunch in El Lay on Sunday, Adam Levine decided to make an impromptu stop to help raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Upon spotting a Red Cross blood drive near the Mustard Seed Caf├â┬⌐ in Los Feliz, he quickly joined the concerned citizens and made a sign instructing locals to “Text Red Cross to 90999.”
The Voice judge was clearly aware that he and Behati Prinsloo were being tailed by the paparazzi and used their presence to get a positive message out.
The message is an echo of countless other celebrity efforts to aid the Northeast in a desperate time of need and encourage their fans to do the same.
We’re sure Levine didn’t stand outside with that sign very long, but we heard him loud and clear.
