Arnold Schwarzenegger Says Action Films Do NOT Cause Real-Life Violence

Arnold Schwarzenegger Movie Violence
When people talk about big, violent action movies, the first name they usually think of is Arnold Schwarzenegger.
So does the Terminator star think that his many acts of onscreen violence have inspired any real-life gun violence?
No way! He doesn’t think there’s any connection at all. He says:

“It is such a horrific tragedy, but we have to separate out what is in the movies ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ which is pure entertainment ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and what is out there in reality.”

But if movie violence has no effect at all, what does Arnold think the U.S. should do about gun violence? He says:

“When you have a tragedy like that and you lose so many lives, I think you owe it to society to do everything you can and look at everything ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ dealing with mental health, parenting in America, are the schools safe, and do we have the right safety features in place, and should we look at gun laws again, and look if there are any loopholes that can be closed.”

Sounds like a pretty measured and comprehensive plan from Conan The Barbarian!
If you were expecting him to say something about crushing enemies and hearing the lamentations of their women, don’t forget — the man was a governor for eight years!
