We lost a great yesterday.
Bob Feller, also known as “Rapid Robert,” pitched for the Cleveland Indians for 18 seasons and topped off his career with an induction into the hall of fame. He died Wednesday at the age of 92.
Feller’s health began to decline in the past months, but that didn’t stop him from attending Indians games throughout the season.
Two things are for sure — Bob loved baseball, and he will be missed.
