Delmon Young has always been known for being a hot-headed Detroit Tiger, but this morning’s arrest has shown us another side: the anti-Semitic side.
He allegedly went on an anti-Semitic tirade and attacked a man in front of a Midtown hotel, after a homeless man wearing a yamulke approached a group of people to ask for some change.
This set Delmon off for some reason, and he started screaming:
“F–king Jews! F–king Jews!”
But that’s not the end of it — another man and a group of his friends confronted Delmon at 2:40am which became a huge brawl. Apparently Delmon was highly intoxicated at the time.
There’s a possibility of Delmon being charged with a hate crime as well.
Ugh. Why can’t we all just get along??
