PETA is getting old. Well, 30 years old that is.
And to thank all of the celebrities who have used their star power to help their cause, PETA is throwing a big bash this Saturday to celebrate.
The event will be held at the Hollywood Palladium and is going to be hosted by Alec Baldwin.
Several celebs will also be honored, such as Bob Barker, Woody Harrelson, and Lea Michele.
PETA’s president reveals:
“We’re a totally celebrity besotted society. Even if you don’t want to look, you have to see what they’re up to. Celebrity compels us to look and listen… They’re enormously powerful, and for them to have a compassionate voice for animals is a godsend.”
Congrats to PETA!
