The end is near…er…ing?
More birds have fallen and fish have flipped over to their death.
More than a hundred dead birds were found alongside a California highway, similar to the birds found in Arkansas, while a thousand fish have been found dead on Chicago’s lakefront.
The madness!
Wildlife experts noted that the most unusual (and possibly the creepiest) occurrence was not the fish dying, but the sight of Canada geese and mallards eating the dead fish, which are NOT ordinarily part of their diet.
And in more not-new-news, officials have no idea WHY this is happening.
Lots of ideas and explanations have been put forth, but none have been proven.
We’re anxiously waiting to hear some kind of scientific explanation for all this mayhem.
Maybe all these animals were just part of a crazy animal kingdom cult and they all drank the Kool-Aid.
