Fierce.
Nikita star, Maggie Q. is the cover girl for this month’s issue of Modern Dog.
Maggie isn’t just hardcore on screen, she’s got some serious spirit that defies anyone not to take an interest in the issue of animal rescue.
When asked if it was tough to be an an activist Maggie said:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós funny; when you├óΓé¼Γäóre an animal lover and get involved in animal rights, it├óΓé¼Γäós a whole different deal, impossible almost. Sometimes, I don├óΓé¼Γäót want to know any more, but it├óΓé¼Γäós one of my life├óΓé¼Γäós missions. Animal cruelty is absolutely unnecessary in the world that we live in. I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to do everything that I can in my lifetime.”
Maggie lovingly described her dogs,
“The three that I have now are from Asia and two are from different rescue groups that I worked with. At one point my count was up to eight rescue dogs. They were like Russian dolls, 90 pounds all the way down to the Chihuahua, who is 3├é┬╜ pounds. Four of them were best friends and the other four were best friends.”
Her passion for pups is truly inspirational.
We’re proud of you, BB!
