Common Sense Media put together their top pics for children’s TV collections that our coming out this year. They are:
– Pocoyo (ages 3+)
Adventurous kid’s curiosity will appeal to preschoolers.
– Amazing Planet (6+)
Stunning nature series for the whole family (Planet Earth works too!)
– Jem and the Holograms (8+)
Who doesn’t love Jem? (Possibly boys). It’s musical and has positive heroines for tween girls.
– Top Gear (12+)
For the boy lat likes cars, and action.
– Adventure Time with Finn & Jake (ages 10+)
We love watching this show! Totally wacky and weird, and not suited for kids under 10, so get it for an only or youngest child.
– Glee (ages 10+)
Fun loud colorful musical numbers. Though some story lines are a little risque for young kids, it’s still network TV appropriate.
– Modern Family (13+)
Funny and great for the whole family. We think this is fine for young kids, but common sense media gave it a 13 and up rating.
