Big Chain Store Puts An End To Gender Segregated Toy Shopping!

YAY!
One of the biggest and oldest toy shores chains in the UK has put and end to the separating the boys and girl toys.
They used to have a boy floor and a girlie floor with signs that say “girls” and “boys” (in pink and blue to clarify for very young and/or illiterate). Now the signs simply state the types of toys sold. Love it!
There’s no need to keep boys and girls separate! What’s the worst that could happen? Little Joey asks for an Easy Bake Oven and Darla choses a BB Gun?
Research shows that society puts these gender stereotypes on little boys and girls. The study showed that little boys don’t actually like blue more that girls.
In fact the results of one study concluded that most children under the age of two-years-old like pink!
