We told you Suri Cruise was getting the best education money can buy!
Well apparently that includes learning Chinese! And going to China!
The multiculturalism is one of the aspects of The Avenues School that attracted Katie Holmes in the first place. Avenues plans to eventually offer its young students study abroad programs.
Hey, if it costs as much as college, it may as well have some of the benefits!
According to a source close to the classroom, Suri has chosen Mandarin Chinese for her foreign language. The source says:
“Suri is going to be learning Mandarin. She is [enrolled in] the program for the Lower School which focuses on Chinese, and this is a great foundation for her.”
We’re proud of Suri! It’s great to see kids take an interest in a foreign culture. But why Chinese?
Who knows? Maybe she just wants to watch Crouching Tiger without all those darn subtitles!
