If our hearts weren’t already breaking…
On Monday, Lea Michele made her first, personal statement in regards to the death of her longtime boyfriend Cory Monteith via Twitter.
Today, new photos have been released of the grief-stricken Glee star from this past Sunday, documenting her first public appearance since his passing. Lea was spotted spending time with friends in Bel Air, shielding her eyes with dark sunglasses and sporting a very brave face.
A very brave face, indeed.
And yes, if you look closely, you can see that she is wearing her signature, gold Cory necklace around her neck. Just one of the tokens of their love for each other, surely one of the mementos she will cling to in this difficult time.
There are no words to describe how sorry we are for all she is going through. We can’t imagine her sorrow, but we do admire her strength.
