A Halloween tradition turned deadly on Saturday when a haunted hayride crashed into the Maine woods.
The ride at Harvest Hills Farm missed a turn, jackknifed and went crashing down a hill, which is where police and emergency workers found many people lying on the ground.
Tragically, 17-year-old Cassidy Charette passed away from the injuries she sustained, after being in critical condition overnight.
Not much is clear about how the accident happened, but 54-year-old David Brown, an experienced trucker, was driving a 1979 Jeep that was hitched to the wagon. He was also injured in the accident.
