Former MLB Pitcher Brad Halsey Dies Suddenly At 33

no title
Brad Halsey, a former major league pitcher, has died at the young age of 33.
He apparently died in a “recreational climbing accident” near New Braunfels, Texas — his home.
The local sheriff’s office is investigating his death and working with a medical examiner. We assume that’s to confirm the accidental nature of this tragedy.
Halsey last pitched in the majors for the Oakland Athletics in 2006, though it was the NY Yankees who originally scooped him up.
He won a game as a Yankee, started against the Boston Red Sox, and even pitched against Barry Bonds! Bonds hit his 714th career home run off a ball pitched by Halsey.

After disappearing from the majors for a few years, he resurfaced in Trenton, N.J. as part of a Yankee farm team!
Sadly, his potentially bright future was put out.
Our hearts and thoughts are with his entire family.
