But it seems 2016 didn’t bring Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, any sensitivity.
The Thor actor’s wife posted a shot of their celebratory 2016 “Wild Wild West” themed party late Wednesday night to Instagram, and well, it’s just really offensive.

This is a classic case of cultural appropriation — and it doesn’t seem like anyone in the picture seems to notice!
You can even see, Elsa and Chris both participated as Native Americans. Sigh.
She also captioned it:

But commenters went in on the couple, writing:
