It’s been three years since Natalie Portman showed up in a Marvel movie — and it sounds like we’ve seen the last of her superhero slapping days!
The Thor: The Dark World star recently sat down for an interview with the Wall Street Journal in which she talked a bit about future appearances in the MCU, and it doesn’t sound good!

On the subject of appearing in a future Thor or Avengers movie, the brunette beauty dished:
“As far as I know, I’m done.”
The Oscar winner went on to give a small ray of hope saying:
“I mean, I don’t know if maybe one day they’ll ask for an Avengers 7 or whatever, I have no idea. But as far as I know, I’m done, but it was a great thing to be a part of.”
(Fun fact: Natalie actually didn’t even make it to the end of Thor: The Dark World either! She wasn’t available for last-minute reshoots and was replaced in the big kissing scene by Chris Hemsworth‘s real life wife Elsa Pataky!)
