For the past week, Dr. Phil has been dissecting the unsolved murder of JonBenét Ramsey like never before, meeting with investigators and individuals involved with the 1996 case.
Multiple documentaries have been revisiting the case in light of its 20th anniversary, but the TV doctor’s three-part interview with JonBen├â┬⌐t’s brother is getting extra attention due to Burke Ramsey‘s perplexing demeanor.
Many who watched parts 1 and 2 were quick to notice that Burke was smiling throughout most of the sit down, even when divulging gruesome details about the morning his sister went missing and remembering her funeral.

This caused some to speculate that Burke may have been smiling because he got away with murder, but Dr. Phil defended the 29-year-old during part 3 of the segment — explaining that his smile is nothing more than a “nervous” tick that came from being uncomfortable in front of the cameras!
In the final part of the special, Dr. Phil put the Boulder Police Department on blast — revealing that they leaked false information to the press AND held off on sending evidence that cleared the Ramsey’s to the district attorney for MONTHS!
