There’s a lesson here: never, ever come for the Oakland Athletics — and Smash Mouth just found that out the hard way!
The 1990s rock group (Hey now, you’re an All Star… get your game on…) is very active on Twitter, and they are big, big baseball fans — a combination that got them into big trouble with Oakland’s MLB team late last night!

Things all got started when Smash Mouth took a shot at the A’s as being a “joke,” and while some of the back and forth is pretty baseball specific (the band is mad that the baseball team isn’t spending money on good players, for example), the takedown is EPIC!!!
