
Zoo Atlanta had a lot riding on Super Bowl LI.
The Georgia park had decided to bet on the big game with Providence Zoo, Roger Williams Park Zoo, and Carousel Village.
And the wager was pretty wild — the losing side would name one of their baby animals after the winning team’s star quarterback.

So, after Tom Brady carried the New England Patriots to victory, Zoo Atlanta had no choice but to hold up its end of the bargain.
But instead of picking an adorable seal or a baby bald eagle, the zoo named a Madagascar hissing cockroach after the five time Super Bowl champ!
Ha! Can’t win em all, Tommy boy!!!
