Actor and comedian Charlie Murphy is dead at the unbelievably young age of 57.
His longtime manager tells TMZ that the comic and raconteur, best known for his work on Chappelle’s Show, died in a New York City hospital after a battle with leukemia.
Charlie was the brother of Eddie Murphy but made a name for himself as a standup and actor, shining in roles in The Boondocks, Black Jesus, and Are We There Yet.
He had three children.
