On Friday, while responding to a comment on Twitter, Bella Thorne revealed she is a survivor of sexual abuse.

The day before, the former Shake It Up star shared a photo of herself wearing a purple suit without a shirt. When one social media user commented, “What did Disney do to this girl?! I think she was molested,” the 20-year-old responded:
