Has Nicola Peltz had a reputation of being a real-life Regina George for years? Even long before her nasty feud with Beckhams and bridezilla accusations?
Brooklyn Beckham is not on good terms with his family — and it all seems to stem from his relationship to Nicola. It became crystal clear the feud wasn’t just a rumor when he skipped David‘s 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month! Sources first claimed it was because he and Nicola are not fans of Romeo Beckham‘s girlfriend (and the Cloud23 creator’s ex) Kim Turnbull. However, other insiders have said the Transformers alum is really to blame — that she’s been the problem since day one!
Recent sources claimed Nicola caused a rift in the family ever since she and Brooklyn tied the knot in 2022 because she was “absolutely foul” and “rude” to Victoria Beckahm and other family members — and not only over the wedding dress drama! Yikes! It sounds like The Last Airbender star is a bit of a mean girl to her mother-in-law! And Victoria may not be the only one who’s been on the receiving end of her catty behavior!
Let’s take it back to 2015! Bella Thorne did an interview for Seventeen magazine’s December/January issue that year, in which she called out a “very, very mean girl” in Hollywood she avoids at all costs. The Shake It Up alum said at the time:
“I have a mean girl. She’s in the business, and she’s very, very mean. I stay away from her at all costs. I never say hello to her. Her siblings are not mean like she is. It’s just her. One of the reasons I don’t like her is because she’s been a billionaire since she was very little, and she’s never had to work for anything in her life.”
What bothers Bella most about this girl is not that she’s super rich — The Duff star just can’t stand how she rubs it in everyone’s face! She later clarified to HuffPost Live:
“It’s not I hate her because she’s a billionaire. I don’t like her because she is a billionaire and makes sure everyone knows that she is, which is like, I didn’t grow up with money or anything like that. And even if I did, I’m not very much like that.”
But who is she talking about? Her comments sent the rumor mill into a frenzy, with many speculating she was referring to Kylie or Kendall Jenner. Obvi they fit the rich and famous part. However, Bella denied it them! She said she adored the Jenners, especially Ky! So who else is there? Gigi Hadid and even Ariana Grande came up! Yet we haven’t heard anything about the supermodel being called a mean girl. While Ari may be a homewrecker, there are no nasty allegations against her like this so far!
So who’s left? Well, guess whose name also came up back then? Nicola! And she does fit the description from Bella! Her father is a billionaire businessman, with a net worth bigger than the Beckhams, while her mom is a former model. So, she grew up with wealth all her life. Nicola also has seven siblings.
Plus, she is in the business like Bella! Nicola has starred in several films and shows over the years, including one from 2014 called Affluenza… with Bella’s ex-boyfriend Gregg Sulkin. Bella and Gregg dated for a year, starting in 2015 — but she and the actor were friends for six years before they got together. So it makes sense Bella and Nicola would have been in each other’s orbit at that time.
Put that together with what we know now… like how Nicola doesn’t have a great rep with the Beckhams. Victoria even reportedly calls her a “viper” to her friends! So, did Bella get a taste of what Posh Spice experienced? Did she hang out with Nicola through their mutual connection with Gregg and get bad vibes from her years ago??
Bella never revealed the identity of the mean girl, but it’s looking more and more like it could be the 30-year-old filmmaker! Especially given her feud with the Beckhams now!
