Nobody is safe from the recession!
CBS’ Katie Couric is facing a pretty steep pay cut due to the economy and some rightfully upset staff members!
Dozens of people have been let go from CBS already and Katie is currently making more than $14 million a year plus extra cash for non- Evening News appearances! An angry producer states:
“She makes enough to pay 200 news reporters $75,000 a year! It’s complete insanity. We report with great enthusiasm how much bankers are making, how it is out of step with reality during a recession. Well, look at Katie!”
Fair point, but we’re sure she isn’t the only news anchor with an outrageous salary! Why don’t they look at some of the popular male anchors’ earnings as well?!
