Somehow, we don’t see this doing as well, but a tip of the cosmo for trying.

Denis Leary has developed a new series of FX, which he describes at the ├óΓé¼┼ôthe anti-Sex and the City.” The pilot is still being written and the plot revolves around a “darker version” of modern day single woman. Taking the starring role in the project is Callie Thorne, one of Denis’ costars from Rescue Me. She describes the show as:

├óΓé¼┼ô… more AbFab, which is a very good thing. The idea is that they├óΓé¼Γäóre single and that they├óΓé¼Γäóre not the type to whine about boys and babies; they├óΓé¼Γäóre more apt to make fun of the girls who do. Sometimes these two women aren├óΓé¼Γäót likable at all.├óΓé¼┬¥

If women won’t like them, then what is the point? You can’t pull six seasons and two movies out of characters no one likes!

We don’t know about this. We think we see a flop.

Thoughts?
