Why all the hate?
Over the weekend Aaron Carter took to Twitter and sent out a LONG stream of tweets explaining his body image and addressing the fact that he’s currently quite slim.
In the tweets, the 27-year-old explained that he’s not only dealing with a lot of anxiety but he has a hiatal hernia!

Well shortly after he explained his condition, he fired off another tweet that mentioned Michael Jackson, which ended up coming under quite a bit of fire. Aaron tweeted:
“Remember one very important thing. Michael passed down the torch to me. I never had to ask for him to do that. pic.twitter.com/XQm9Gzon9Q”
The musician continued by saying:

The original tweet about Michael has since been deleted but that didn’t stop an onslaught of Twitter haters from calling Carter out!
You can imagine the amount of hate the little Carter received for trying to compare himself to the King of Pop which is why he continued to tweet and defend himself saying:
No he compared himself to me. I knew Michael VERY well and spent lots of time with him. Just stop right there. https://t.co/Jbi0rSpsOe

The That’s How I Beat Shaq singer then spent a few hours responding to haters on the social media platform before signing off and going to bed.

We can’t say we agree with the comparison, but Aaron certainly is entitled to say what he wants and shouldn’t have received NEAR as much hate as what he did.
Obviously the singer is going through some things and we hope that he’s able to put all the BS behind him and not listen to Twitter trolls!
