UPDATE 10:50 A.M. EST: According to TMZ, legal docs filed by Amber Heard’s team reveal “an emergency” came up, which is why the actress is unable to be in court for her deposition on August 12 at 10 A.M.
And it’s made clear in the papers that “to no fault of her own, Amber was unable to arrange for a flight to travel from London.”
Her lawyers, Samantha Spector and Joseph Koening are pushing to move the deposition to Saturday, August 13. Additionally, the two also take stabs at Johnny Depp’s legal team, adding:

“Johnny’s counsel continues to wage a malicious war against Amber in the Court of Public Opinion in an effort to intimidate and discourage Amber from telling the truth… “It is a disturbing shame that Johnny’s lawyers continue to pursue a relentless personal attack against Amber.”

Finally, Heard’s team also fired off a letter to his counsel alleging he went back on a settlement agreement. So as of now, it looks like an offer has been sent to the actor for approval.
We’ll continue to keep you updated.

Uh oh!
It seems as though Amber Heard may be a no-show for her court ordered deposition scheduled for today, August 12 at 10 a.m. How do we know this?

Well, according to TMZ, the Magic Mike XXL actress is allegedly still in London despite being ordered to give her statement under oath in El Lay. Reportedly, the consequences for Miz Heard’s MIA status could be severe. Way to pull a Tyga, girl!
As you may recall, there has been all kinds of drama surrounding Amber’s deposition in her divorce/domestic violence case against her estranged husband Johnny Depp. Over the weekend, the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, claimed the 30-year-old refused to testify and also threw a tantrum in a nearby room. Heard’s legal team has since refuted these claims. Talk about drama!
To make matters worse, Depp’s attorney has already asked the judge to prohibit Amber from testifying in next week’s trial because of her recent behavior. Whoa.
It looks like the divorce drama will never end for Amber and Johnny — especially if the blonde beauty won’t show up to court. Stay tuned!
