Congratulations!
On Wednesday, American Idol alum Kimberly Caldwell welcomed her first child into the world with her soccer stud husband Jordan Harvey!
The new parents revealed their little one was in fact a baby girl and that they named her Harlow Monroe Harvey. LOVES it!

The twosome shared in a statement that their daughter arrived:
“…weighing in at a dainty but mighty 5.2 pounds and 18.5 inches long.”
Awww!
Though the pair seem thrilled by their newest addition, it appears that the birthing process was in no way an easy one.
They noted:
“[That birth was ] the most intense and rewarding day of our lives.”
Whoa! What an honest answer.
Nonetheless, the Caldwell/Harvey clan are ready to start their new role as parents.
They continued:
“We are so grateful to be gifted this perfect little addition into our family. Can’t believe she’s finally here and we can’t keep our eyes off of her, especially when debating on whose nose she has. So many long nights, memories, and adventures to be made with this sweet little girl and looking forward to every minute.”

Miz Caldwell competed in the second season of the hit singing competition back in 2003, but it appears this past last year has been the best one of her life — as she married her husband back in December, announced her pregnancy in April, and now has given birth!
Phew, we’re just exhausted listing it all.
Congrats again to the happy duo — though it’ll be inneresting to see if the little one inherits her Papa’s athletic ability or her Momma’s singing chops. Fingers crossed it’s both!
