Ariel Winter Confirms She's Taking A Break From College To Focus On Her Career!

Ariel Winter is taking a temporary break from academia.
On Thursday, while at the premiere for her latest flick The Last Movie Star, the Modern Family actress revealed she is taking some time off from school in order to focus on her career. How very un-Alex Dunphy of her!!

As you surely know, Miz Winter started at UCLA last September, after first deferring her acceptance for a year. On her big decision, Ariel explained to Entertainment Tonight:

“I do love UCLA, but at the moment I’m taking a break from it so I can continue to pursue my career and also try to have a little bit more of a life because I’ve been so busy. That’s really it at the moment. But I think education’s really important. I love being there. I love learning. I will continue to keep learning.”

Hmmm, makes sense! In case you haven’t noticed, the 20-year-old has been relatively MIA from the limelight this past year. And, apparently, this was totally on purpose. The El Lay native added:

“I think the key to doing that is to try to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible unless you’re doing something that you want people to see. Having every little aspect of your life in the public eye is really hard because it leaves more room for criticism and I just want to live.”

We can get behind that. Not to mention, it must’ve been hard juggling a career, school, and a serious relationship. Since getting together in 2016, Ariel and boyfriend Levi Meaden have been pretty inseparable. As the twosome are living together, many have wondered if the pair are wedding altar bound.
On her matching ring finger tattoo with Levi, the It-girl coyly shared:

“It means something that in a few years would be great.”

Awwwwww. However, we hope Ariel finishes her degree before jumping into marriage.
Just a suggestion…
