We don’t know much about the Schwarzenegger kids. But ever since that whole maid scandal broke a few months ago, we’re learning more and more about what the kids are dealing with.
Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s oldest, Katherine, 21, is opening up about what’s changed in her life since her parents announced their separation. She says:
“When [the separation] started happening, it was like everything came of nowhere overnight. I would go out to lunch, and literally 20 people would come and scream at me. And I’m like, ‘This is so inappropriate; you’re trying to provoke me to have an attack and say something crazy.'”
But she does say that “everything happens for a reason. A lot of the time, it’s hard to understand in the moment why things are happening.”
We’re sure it’s been hard on you and your sister and brothers, Katherine. But you all seem pretty well-adjusted considering how famous your mom and dad are. Stay strong!
