In a perfect world Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver would reunite, but sources confirm that Schwartz has accepted the likelihood of divorce between himself and his longtime wife.
Shriver, at first, stalled the divorce proceedings because she still had strong emotional ties to her hubby. Also, divorce is frowned upon in her religion.
As time marched on and the two grew further apart, the couple have entrenched themselves in new lives for themselves. They have, in a sense, moved on from one another.
Arnold strongly believes Shriver’s friends have poisoned the waters for him, encouraging Maria to stay strong and follow through with the divorce.
Hey, that’s what friends are for!
Apparently, the two are close to a final financial settlement which would bring them one step closer to the end of this difficult period in their life.
No matter what, sources confirmed, Shriver and Arnold want to dissolve their marriage in the easiest and most painless way possible for their children.
But as any of us know who’ve had parents part ways, divorce is never easy.
