This is exactly what vintage should look like!
Banana Republic is traveling way back in time to 19th century Russia to create a fall collection inspired by the aristocratic film, Anna Karenina that hits theaters this November.
The retailer brought in the movie’s costume designer, Jacqueline Durran, to help curate and style the capsule collection.
Durran was very excited about the collaboration:

“[Helping with the line is] a once in a lifetime experience. I was given the chance to apply my passion for period styles to a collection that translates to fashion today.├óΓé¼┬¥

The collection includes faux fur on collars, coats, hats, and affluent fabrics in black and gray for the 50s influence of Christian Dior, which was Durran’s brief for the actual film.
The retailer also followed Keira Knightley‘s accessory style in the film with an abundance of pearls and crystal jewelry.
Prices will range from $39.50 to $325, and is due to hit stores this October.
Could we be anymore lucky? Dior and Anna Karenina inspired clothing at such a great price. What a deal of a lifetime!
