says it wasn’t easy to publicly reveal that she was molested when she was a child. As you can imagine.
We previously reported how the 20-year-old responded to a troll on Twitter who questioned her supposed promiscuity online by sharing that she was molested by someone she trusted when she was growing up.

Speaking in a new interview with Tom Ward, the former Disney star said she initially regretted saying anything at all about her experience:

“I was just very sad. I remember I was laying in bed and the first thing I tweeted was ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ someone said this stupid fucking comment that said, ├óΓé¼╦£Was it Disney or were you just molested?'”

She went on:

“I was like, no it wasn’t Disney. I tweeted it out and I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh fuck do I delete it?’ Then I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£No, Bella. You just let it stay on there.’ And then I didn’t say anything about it for a while.”

After Bella shared more details about the abuse, she called her manager to see if it “was bad.” She recalled:

“He was like, ├óΓé¼╦£Is it bad? Bella, there’s nothing bad about this. This is good. You are not any less of a person because this has happened to you.’ It was one of the first times that someone had actually said that to me since it happened and it really meant the world to me.”
