Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez Nearly Had A VERY Awkward Run-In At Los Angeles Office Building - Details!

Things almost got very, very awkward for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in El Lay on Wednesday!

The duo both work out of the same Los Angeles office building when it comes to planning and setting up future on-camera projects with their respective production companies. So, it makes sense that they’d both be seen there at various points as the summer has wound down and the grind of the real world has begun again.

But nobody counted on the ex-couple SO narrowly missing each other like this! And with their divorce obviously in full swing, that could have been an EXTREMELY awkward interaction had it gone down like it almost did!

Under the bright and hot Wednesday sun, paparazzi cameras were on hand in El Lay to see the Argo star and the Waiting For Tonight singer miss seeing each other enter and exit the building by just 30 minutes! What a close call!!

Per Page Six, the whole thing started when the On The Floor crooner showed up with what that outlet described as a “serious pout” on her face. Damn! She wore a beautiful flowing maxi skirt with a bright green blouse and matching pumps, and then accessorized it all with a swanky Valentino Garavani purse and big gold hoop earrings. And she rolled up and popped right inside to attack the workday while looking fierce!

Then, just a half hour later, Affleck was photographed leaving that very same building! He was driving off in a gray suit jacket and a pastel pink shirt underneath. Both were stylish AF for their days in the office! But yeah, 30 minutes of separation in the same spot?! They just barely swerved each other!!

Near miss!

Obviously, their ongoing divorce has been in the news for a looooong time now. And even though it was only just made official with J.Lo’s court filing in recent weeks, the duo has been on the outs for months! So, a run-in at that El Lay office definitely would have made for some heightened tensions and awkward interactions, to say the least.

But, hey, it’s like they say: close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Right?! They missed each other by 30 minutes, but they did miss, and life carried on just as before.
