Bethenny Frankel is hitting back at critics of her 2024 Paris Fashion Week runway walk.
On Monday, the former Real Housewives of New York star took to Instagram to share a clip of herself strutting down the runway during L’Oreal’s PFW show. She looked fab AND confident — but she didn’t have the most conventional walk… See (below):
She’s basically dancing down the catwalk! Fans were quick to pick apart her display, calling it everything from “weird” to “ridiculous.” One fan commented, “That walk. What the…….” And the 53-year-old didn’t shy away from dishing EXACTLY “what” went into her walk.

In a separate video, she hit back:
“I chose those shoes. L’Oreal said you can pick anything you want, and I chose those shoes because I wanted to be like a giraffe with elongated legs. Like one of those long-legged creatures that walks the runway and looks like they’re not even the same species. And I loved it. And the thing is, that’s what the show was about. It was about not being perfect, it was about being perfectly imperfect and doing what you want to do.”
She went on to point out “it’s so easy to sit and watch someone else do something and criticize it,” but that she was SUPER proud of herself for walking a PFW show and for bringing her entire team along for the ride. Plus, the whole point of the show, according to her, was to celebrate the unique beauty of each model! Listen to her entire video (below):

“You looked amazing and you rocked that walk!!”
“You were great!! Don’t give that hater a spotlight”
