Billy Bob Thornton was a passenger in a car that was involved in an accident in West Hollywood on Friday, according to new reports out just this afternoon.

Apparently, law enforcement sources reveal that Thornton was riding in a car that collided another around 6:45 am on Friday morning, after which the actor complained of a head injury and was immediately taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to get checked out.
Luckily, a rep for Thornton confirmed the head pain turned out not to be serious, and the hospital trip was simply a precautionary measure. Thornton allegedly returned to the set of his newest job the very same day.
