Miranda Lambert already knew this! LOLz!!!
Blake Shelton may have gotten his start in music before making it big as a TV star on The Voice, but it looks like he’s ready for yet another change.
It was announced on Tuesday that the 39-year-old country crooner has joined the cast of the Angry Birds Movie!

Blake will be portraying a pig from the countryside named Earl and he even gets to sing his own original song in the video game adaptation!
In fact, Blake says his new role reminds him a lot of another famous folksy flick, saying:
“I can write things about myself and my life, but I don’t have a whole lot of experience being shot out of a slingshot at pigs.
They kept saying, ‘More country!’ I felt like I was doing a voice-over for Dukes of Hazzard.”

The singer is just the latest A-Lister added to the cast, which already included Jason Sudeikis, Peter Dinklage, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, Bill Hader, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, and even Smosh.
Make sure to catch Blake’s animated debut when the two-part Angry Birds Movie premieres May 20, 2016!
