Brandi Glanville is facing a perplexing new medical mystery… Which has altered her appearance!
On Saturday, the reality TV star took to X (Twitter) to share a makeup-free selfie which immediately caused concerns among fans. Instead of her usual smooth appearance, the 52-year-old revealed a swollen and lumpy cheek. Without offering any explanation, she cryptically captioned the post:

In the replies, fans immediately started asking every question under the sun — many hastily taking aim at her possible cosmetic procedures:
“Is that filler migration?”
“Is it because of all the Botox /fillers and not keeping up with it?”
“did you get your fillers out?”
“What happened? Praying for you!”

Another fan guessed her changed appearance was possibly due to an allergic reaction:
“This looks like some kind of allergic reaction to something…her eyelids are swollen. Filler doesn’t do that. People can be so rude.”
But on Sunday, the former model shut down speculation with a follow-up post — revealing her current appearance is a medical mystery she’s been pouring money into to try to solve:
“What happened? I wish I knew I’ve been in &out of the hospital this passed year 1/2 spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out.”
That’s so scary! Brandi has been open for the last year about struggling with mystery facial swelling, but as for the leading theories her doctors have come to… They’re pretty terrifying:
“Some Dr.’s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face.”
WHOA! What?! That sounds awful! And painful! She continued:
“Some say it’s stress induced edema.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, Edema is a “swelling caused by too much fluid trapped in the body’s tissues.” We could see that… But as far as what Brandi personally believes? She wrote:
“I personally say it’s Bravo”
As we know, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been pursuing a lawsuit against Andy Cohen and Bravo over claims the host sexually harassed her in a video he sent her in 2022. That’s undoubtedly been a lot of stress for Brandi, but enough to cause such a drastic physical change? We’re not sure.
