Lynne Spears is giving fans some motherly advice amid reports that her daughter is seeking treatment at a mental health facility.
The mother of Britney Spears indirectly addressed the matter on Instagram Thursday, sharing an inspiring message about not giving up when the going gets tough.

It reads:
“Keep going no matter how bad things are right now, no matter how stuck you feel, no matter how many days you’ve spent crying, no matter how many days you’ve spent wishing things were different, no matter how hopeless and depressed you feel—I promise you won’t feel this way forever. Keep going.”
Or, as her daughter would say…
“Now get to work, bitch.”
The comments section of the post was flooded with messages from fans sending the Spears brood love and support. The past few months have been a difficult time for the family as they continue to deal with patriarch Jamie Spears’ health battle.
As we reported in January, Britney announced she was taking an indefinite hiatus to focus on her dad’s health. She wrote at the time:
“I am dedicating my focus and energy to care for my family. We have a very special relationship and I want to be with my family at this time just like they have always been there for me…It’s important to always put your family first… and that’s the decision I had to make.”
The Toxic singer went on to reveal that her dad had been rushed to surgery after his colon spontaneously ruptured. Jamie spent almost a month in the hospital and is said to have been since recuperating at home.
While poppa Spears is expected to make a full recovery, his health crisis appears to have taken a toll on the family — particularly the pop superstar.
It’s been reported that Brit’s emotional well-being was greatly affected by her father’s hospitalization, which is why she took the brave step to focus on her own health. This is something the songstress seemed to confirm in a social media post on Wednesday that she captioned:
“Fall in love with taking care of yourself, mind, body, spirit. We all need to take time for a little ‘me time.'”
Since then, others close to the superstar have spoken out about what a brave and wonderful person she is. Little sis Jamie Lynn Spears posted a throwback photo of the two of them, describing the singer as “the fn best.”
Brit’s boyfriend Sam Asghari, meanwhile, praised the 37-year-old’s courageous decision to check into a treatment facility, writing:
“It isn’t weakness, it’s a sign of absolute strength, people should only be inspired by this, at least I am.”
The 25-year-old is said to have been sticking by the performer’s side throughout her recent struggles and has been very helpful in making sure she’s getting all the help she needs to be her best Britney.
Will join the choir and say: keep going, y’all. Britney sure as heck is… and we all know it’s only a matter of time before she returns with a banging comeback single, appropriately titled Me Time.
