Brooke Hogan Now Regrets Being Left Out Of Dad Hulk's Will -- Here's Why!

Brooke Hogan Now Regrets Not Being In Dad Hulk's Will -- Here's Why!

If Brooke Hogan could go back and change one thing before her dad died, what would it be? She would have never asked to be removed from Hulk Hogan‘s will!

Following the death of the professional wrestler, news broke that he had named only one person as the beneficiary of nearly $5 million! And it wasn’t Brooke! It wasn’t even his wife, Sky Daily! The entire fortune went to his son Nick Hogan! Wow! His daughter wasn’t shocked by the decision, though. In fact, it’s what she wanted. Or what she said she originally wanted! Although Brooke previously insisted she had “no regrets” about being left out of the will, she has had a change of heart!

Speaking to Page Six on Friday, the singer explained she only regrets the decision now, not for financial reasons, but because she has no say in his legacy moving forward. What’s more, Brooke cannot get “answers” about his death:

“I think everybody very clearly understands that I was my dad’s protector and I loved him more than anything. The reason why I regret it, is because I do not have a place now to get answers.”

Hulk died from a myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, and suffered from a secret leukemia battle, per a cremation approval report. However, the About Us artist questioned her father’s cause of death! Especially when TMZ later reported that he may have actually died of medical malpractice instead. An occupational therapist reportedly informed police that a surgeon accidentally severed Hulk’s phrenic nerve, which connects to the diaphragm and controls breathing, during surgery.

Despite being unsure about how Hulk passed away and wanting answers, Brooke said she can’t make “any decisions” about him:

“I can’t do anything to help my dad after his death, or to find out answers, or to avenge him in any way, shape or form, because the people that I so badly wanted to get away from are now running the show, which is even more of a nightmare.”

When Brooke asked to be axed from the will, she did so for her own “sanity” and “safety” – not thinking about the consequences of her decision ahead of time:

“I didn’t think after the fact this is who was going to be in control. The people that I didn’t trust are now all controlling it, and it’s terrible.”

Oof.

The mom of two went on to say she also regrets not taking the millions and donating it all to charity or splitting it with her brother, with whom she is not on good terms at this time:

“It’s not about money. It’s about doing the right thing and making sure that [Hulk] is represented in the correct ways, and his legacy lives on in the most positive way. So, you know, there’s things I would definitely be doing differently if I were back in that seat.”

But unfortunately, there is nothing she can do about it now…

Brooke first revealed her regret on the Hollywood Raw Podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn earlier this week, where she also insisted it is not about the money. Watch (below):

However, she told Page Six she feels her comments on the podcast are now “getting twisted”:

“Something that is already getting twisted, which is annoying the absolute hell out of me, is that I said I regretted taking myself off the will. And to clarify, yeah, it’s not about money, and I’m so sick of people immediately becoming trolls and making it about that.”

All Brooke wants more than anything right now is meaningful mementos of her dad’s, but Nick allegedly won’t budge:

“I asked for a couple things of my dad’s. I asked my brother if I could have one of his crosses he wore. And it was like, ‘Here’s a pair of flip-flops and a couple T-shirts he never wore,’ you know? So I had to go back and ask again. It’s feeling more like a slap in the face as each day goes by.”

Brooke — who has been adamant about not reconciling with her family — noted she has experienced “a lot of bad” with them, adding:

“I’ve been tracing things back and, you know, having empathy for my mom and having empathy for my dad and their upbringings and, you know, trying to, at this point, be a cycle breaker and not participate in what doesn’t feel true to me.”

It’s a sad situation, but Brooke needs to do what is best for her at the end of the day. What are your thoughts, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments (below).
