Bravo’s extremely successful and profitable Project Runway is about to make even more bank!
For the first time, the show is beginning to license its name out to a variety of products and companies.
Wannabe designers will soon be able to cut their creations from Project Runway-branded patterns and stitch them together using fabrics and sewing machines also carrying the TV show’s name.
Products carrying the show’s name will be introduced this fall and in early 2008. They include jewelry by Aaron Co., sewing machines by Brother International, embellishments and embroidery by Prym Consumer, textiles by Robert Kaufman Fabrics and patterns by Simplicity Pattern Co.
Is this something they will do with all of their shows?
We’d be interested in the Kathy Griffin line of Botox! Or perhaps the Work Out steroid collection!
