In a newly-published interview from The Global Awards, Jimmy Hill asked the 23-year-old if she had plans to collaborate again with her boyfriend after the success of their songs Señorita and I Know What You Did Last Summer:

“I want more, we want more but honestly we’re being in our twenties… Just like being in love is exhausting, it takes it out of you. We can’t even go to the studio, we can’t, yeah. We’re trying to calm down!”

Hill jokingly replied:

“Too busy in other ways?”

With a laugh, the former Fifth Harmony member responded:

“No, no. I meant emotionally! Dang it.”

While on the red carpet, she also commented on her beau’s recently-debuted facial hair. As the Mendes Army may recall, the Stitches crooner was spotted rocking stubble at his GF’s birthday party earlier this month. Cabello explained:

“I won’t say that that’s my influence, but I really like it. I think he likes it but he’s never had it this long before, and I’m just like, ‘Don’t shave it. I like it.'”

Ch-ch-check out more from Camila (below):

You know what else is definitely exhausting? Dealing with trolls! Just a few months after the former friends began dating, Cami responded to a caller while appearing on a BBC radio show who complained about PDA:

“Ouch, I feel personally targeted. I feel personally attacked. Yeah, PDA is terrible. I mean, kissing in public? I don’t even…”

The caller quickly clarified they were speaking out about couples leaving flirty comments on social media in excess. Cabello also changed her tune:

“You, honestly, get kind of desensitized to it. You’re like, ‘Well, might as well make out on Instagram.’ Might as well!”

Previously, the Havana songstress spoke with Rolling Stone about when things went from being platonic with her collaborator to… something more:

“During I Know What You Did Last Summer, I really bonded with him as more than a friend. I think he did, too, but we were both really young, and he was experiencing the pressures of his career. I don’t think we knew what to do with those feelings. It was this awkward thing where we both liked each other, but we weren’t together. It was just weird.

An energy was there from the beginning, but after that song, we didn’t spend as much time together. Our paths just didn’t cross in that way romantically until we started hanging out again and writing. For me, it just brought it back.”

Too cute!!
