This week, celebrities big and small took to Twitter and Instagram to say adiós to the icon!

Since Dave couldn’t have EVERY one of his former guests on during his final week, many were forced to say their goodbyes on social media — including Sia, Oprah Winfrey, Bette Midler, Jimmy Fallon, Betty White, Ellen DeGeneres, Conan O’Brien, Backstreet Boys, Maroon 5, Seth Meyers, Mindy Kaling, Foo Fighters, and Andy Cohen, just to name a few.
Ch-ch-check out their touching goodbyes (below)!

This was four years ago almost to the day and I will never forget what a thrill it was. Dave broke all the rules and completely re-defined the talk show for the modern era. There isn’t a show on today that can’t trace a piece of its editorial content to David Letterman. #ThanksDaveA photo posted by Andy Cohen (@bravoandy) on May 20, 2015 at 1:30pm PDT

We’re certainly going to miss you Dave, but we’re definitely excited to see what Stephen Colbert will bring to the late night table!
