Well, looks like Michael Lohan got his wish.
Robert Venero – president and CEO of Future Tech Enterprise in Holbrook – ponied up $20,000 to throw down with Lohan. He is also purchasing 50 seats at $150 a pop for guests to get a front row view of the knock-down drag-out.
Venero has never boxed in his life, but is boning up on his skills with former professional boxer Tony Fortunato, who also owns Eye of the Tiger Boxing Club. With Vanero at 5’8″ and 170 and Lohan at 5’10, 176, the fight looks like it will be a good one.
Like the huge dork that he is, Lohan claims to have seven years of martial arts under his (black) belt.
The two will duke it out November 24th at the Hilton Long Island in Melville for Fight For Charity. Violence for a good cause? Okay.
We’re glad Lohan found a sparring partner, especially since he initially went after K-Fed and Yours Truly.
We turned the offer down cuz we didn’t want to humiliate the deadbeat dad.
The match should be a good one. We hear Lohan fights dirty and Venero is paying too much money to lose to a fellow who purchases paternity kits from Walgreens.
Hopefully Venero will knock some sense into him!
