Wow! Who knew Chelsea Clinton was so expensive!!
On Tuesday, Chelsea’s public speaking fee was revealed after the University of Missouri in Kansas City released documents detailing their process to book the former first daughter for a February 24 speaking appearance.
If you’re wondering why the University wanted to book Chels in the first place, she was the next logical choice after they passed on Hillary Clinton.
Understandably, university officials didn’t find it reasonable to fork over a WHOPPING $275,000 for the presidential candidate to simply grace a gala luncheon.

So, how much did CC charge for the appearance which included a 10 minute speech, 20 minute Q&A, and a half-hour posing for pictures?
…$65K!!!!!!
Yup, that’s more than most Americans make a year.
Considering the 35-year-old hasn’t done much besides being the offspring of Hilary and Bill Clinton, we’re a bit shocked by the figure.
The upside of this exuberant fee is that all proceeds went to the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, which boasts on their website:
“The Clinton Foundation convenes businesses, governments, NGOs, and individuals to improve global health and wellness, increase opportunity for women and girls, reduce childhood obesity, create economic opportunity and growth, and help communities address the effects of climate change.”
Well, at least the money is going to some great causes!!
