We suppose we’ve recovered enough to talk about such a sore subject.
As much as it kills us…
We do love everything Glee and we love ourselves some Chris Colfer, so we thought we’d share some HIGHlights from one of his latest Gleeful interviews!
Discussing the absolute brainfreeze that was Klaine’s doom, he remains optimistic.
Here’s those HIGHlights:
ON HIS INITIAL REACTION TO THE BREAK-UP
“Initially I was excited. I think they’re the first Glee couple who have yet to separate. I was looking forward to having a little drama between them and thought it’d be nice not being the ugly half of a power couple for a while. But I was thinking as an actor and forgot about the fans, now I’m just terrified of how they├óΓé¼Γäóll react. They love their Klaine.”
ON HOW THE WRITERS HANDLED THEBULLSHIZSPLIT
“I thought it was very realistic. People grow up and grow apart. You get busy and lose contact with people you love over time, not intentionally, it’s just how life is sometimes. It also gives the story so many places to go now.”
ON A SINGLE KURT IN THE BIG APPLE
“I’m just really excited to see what the future holds for him in general. Whether that means dating one person or a few over the course of the season, I just want to see him live and be his own person. He had a really bad year last season so it’s been nice to see him spread his wings.”
ON THE FUTURE
“Your guess is as good as mine. I know Sarah Jessica Parker is coming back soon, which I’m excited about. I really hope we get to explore the fashion world through Kurt’s eyes. I think that’d be a lot of fun to see and there’s so much we could do with it. But he may give it all up for a second chance at NYADA. I’m good with either, I miss performing and hovering over Whoopi.”
We’re swimming.
We’re swimming in a big freaking pool of tears. WHY!?!
Sigh. But we know it’s important to remain optimistic… even though Ryan Murphy is one of the most realistic TV writers out there. We want Klaine to be end-game, but ya never know!! Faith. Gotta keep the faith.
