The Rush star told Esquire that playing a superhero is something that you have to get a good grasp on before you swing it at people.
He said:
“You talk to the comic-book fans, people who├óΓé¼Γäóve been there since the beginning├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥you know, since the sixties├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and you realize the religious significance of this thing. And there is a kind of work that follows. You do your research. You listen and learn what you can. But then you let go. Eventually you├óΓé¼Γäóre down to it. You gotta make this guy your own.
The challenge in the first installment was this fish-out-of-water quality, this naivete about everything that makes up earth. That was a familiar dynamic to me. A Crocodile Dundee thing, really.”
Crocodile Dundee?? “That’s not a knife! It’s a magic hammer!” Ha!
It’s too bad this super seksi (and funny!) superhero isn’t single! LOLz!
