The Green Day mastermind is supposedly quite a Voice fanatic, and recently shared:

And we’re sure his decision has NOTHING to do with the fact that The Voice is a prime platform for promoting Green Day’s latest musical enterprise, the ├é┬íUno! ├é┬íDos! ├é┬íTre! trilogy, which begins invading ears September 25th!
