Christina Ricci Is A Girlfriend In A Coma!

From flight attendant to hospital patient???
Christina Ricci will have another go at the small screen in a starring role on NBC’s new comedy, Girlfriend In A Coma.
The former Pan Am actress will play a woman who awakens from a long coma only to find she has a 17-year-old daughter.
Sounds weird, but we’re intrigued!
While she has yet to sign on the dotted line, all signs point to her lack of consciousness as soon as next fall!
We’ve never really seen Christina or comas bring on the laughs, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
With the deep, sad comedy holes left on the network due to the end of The Office and 30 Rock, we’re crossing out fingers that Girlfriend will fill the void!!
