Who would’ve thought we’d get a lesson in gender studies at the 2016 CMA Awards!?
Well, that’s what we got when Dierks Bentley took the stage with Elle King to perform Different for Girls!
Playing on dueling acoustic guitars, the musicians crooned out their hit duet and sang about how mending a broken heart is a lot different for girls than it is for boys!
Specifically, ladies can’t fix a broken heart with booze and coke like guys can. We guess they’ve never been to Hollywood? Ha!
Ch-ch-check out the soulful performance (above) to get educated on double standards!
